Programa de residencias
Considerando distintos escenarios de colaboración, Taller F cuenta con dos modalidades de estancias creativas para fotógrafos y experimentadores de las artes visuales.
La residencia en mentoría, es un programa destinado a todos aquellos artistas emergentes de la región interesados en desarrollar un proyecto en nuestros espacios. Aunque no incluye hospedaje, a través de un calendario de mentorías, asesoría técnica y un espacio de trabajo, esta residencia está pensada para acelerar la curva de aprendizaje y concretar un proyecto visual en determinado plazo. Al igual que la residencia en co-producción, al finalizar el periodo de colaboración, se establece un acuerdo de impresión limitada y exclusiva para venta y colección. En cualquier momento del año, los interesados pueden enviar una muestra de su trabajo y una sinopsis de su proyecto para ser considerado por un consejo de artistas que cambia cada año.
La residencia en coproducción, esta residencia en colaboración con instituciones culturales y universidades tiene una duración de uno a dos meses. Dos veces al año, Taller F recibe a un artista visual para que viva en nuestras instalaciones y que experimente con los recursos que tenemos disponibles. En este período, el equipo de Taller F acompañan al residente, propiciando encuentros con agentes culturales y la comunidad, gestionando las necesidades técnicas y de enlace para los requerimientos del proyecto. Al final de la residencia, ofrecemos una exhibición del trabajo realizado en alguna espacio de exposición en la ciudad. como parte de este convenio de trabajo entre instituciones, Taller F aporta un porcentaje del costo de la residencia.
Criterios de selección
La residencia en mentoría y en coproducción con instituciones y universidades están abiertas a artistas de cualquier género y país, por lo que el interesado deberá de estar matriculado en un centro educativo al tiempo de la aplicación.
El artista debe presentar un cuerpo de trabajo consistente y coherente, además de un compromiso real para trabajar durante su estadía en Taller F y que será confirmado con su propuesta, la cual deberá ser creativa, arriesgada y con el potencial de motivar las prácticas artísticas actuales en la comunidad.
El artista debe considerar la viabilidad de su proyecto, el cual será resuelto con las herramientas y las áreas de trabajo de Taller F.

Considering different scenarios of collaboration, Taller F has two modalities of creative stays for photographers and experimenters of the visual arts.
The residency in mentorship is a program for all those emerging artists of the region interested project development in our facilities. Although it does not include lodging, through a mentoring calendar, technical advice, and workspace, this residence is designed to accelerate the learning curve and specify a visual project within a certain period. As well as in the co-production residency, at the end of the collaboration period, a limited and exclusive printing agreement for sale and collection is established. At any time of the year, interested parties can submit work samples and a project overview to be considered by by a jury of knowledgeable and steemed artists and arts professionals that changes every day,
The co-production residency This residency in collaboration with cultural institutions and universities lasts between one and two months. Twice year-round, Taller F is hosting a visual artist to live in our installations and experiment with the available resources. In this period, the organizers accompany the resident, fostering encounters with cultural agents and the community managing the technical needs and liaison for the project requirements. At the end of the residency, we offer an exhibition of the resident’s work in an exposition space in the city. As part of this work agreement between institutions, Taller F contributes a percentage of the cost of the residency.
Selection criteria
The residence in mentorship and co-production with intitutions and universities is open to artist from any country and any genre, so the interested must be enrolled in an educational center at the time of applying.
The artist must present a consistent and coherent body of work, besides a real commitment to work during their stay in Taller F, and this will be confirmed with their artistic proposal, which must be creative, risky and with the potential to motivate the current artistic practices in the community.
The artist must considerate the viability of their project, wich will have be resolved with the tools and work areas that Taller F
